• Palestine International Business Forum (on-going): ABS was by PIBF to provide consultancy and technical assistance to for a unique tourism initiative targeting the Swedish Market through promoting Authentic, Responsible and Spiritual Pilgrimages to the Holy land. The project is implemented by Diyar Consortium, the Arab Hotel Association and the Holy Land incoming Tour Operators Association.
  • EDIP / Carana: In December 2009, the private sector in cooperation with the EDIP and the Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities hosted a familiarization tour of tour operators from Spain and Germany. ABS Tourism was hired to prepare and provide an overview presentation on Palestine to the group during their tour. The presentation focused on showcasing Palestine as a tourism destination and providing insight and ideas on how best to promote and sell Palestine in their respective markets.
  • Office of the President, Jerusalem Unit: ABS was selected to conduct the Tourism Sector Review for East Jerusalem as part of a Multi-sector Review of East Jerusalem implemented by the Office of the President. The review examined the situation of the Tourism industry in East Jerusalem along a proposed strategy and selected projects for implementation.
  • Project Peace on Earth: ABS has partnered with Project Peace on Earth as their exclusive representative in Palestine. The project is a Global Musical Concert that will be staged live from Manager Square and broadcasted live to a global audience of up to 1 billion people from the across the continents.
  • Ammar Real Estate: ABS was hired to conduct a comprehensive market and financial appraisal of the Golden Gate Project in the heart of Jerusalem. The project was carried out together with Diyafa Hospitality and provided a comprehensive feasibility study of the project (a 200+ room superior 4 star hotel in the heart of East Jerusalem.
  • Palestine Investment Fund: ABS was hired to conduct a detailed operational review for the Grand Park Hotel in Ramallah. The review included an in-depth analysis of the existing hotel facility and operation and provided detailed recommendation to restructure, renovate and expand certain facilities. The project was implemented in cooperation with Diyafa Hospitality.
  • Negotiations Support Unit (NSU): ABS Tourism was hired by the NSU in January to assist the preparation of a white paper on “Tourism Fact Sheet for Palestine”. The paper explored the various obstacles facing the industry (including access and movement, infrastructure development, image building etc..) . The paper also examined case studies illustrating the various tourism activities and describing obstacles and lost income opportunities for Palestinian stakeholders.
  • EDIP / Carana: ABS was hired to conduct an in-depth study and presentation on the Tourism Sector in Palestine on behalf of the Arab Hotel Association, the Holy Land Incoming Tour Operators Association and the Arab Tour Guides Union. The study /presentation was delivered at the Carana sponsored “Palestinian Industry & Economic Growth Forum”.
  • Padico Services: ABS was hired by Padico Services to conduct a detailed study on the tourism sector in East Jerusalem. The study provided a profile of the sector highlighting the main challenges, priorities and strategic opportunities for private sector development and investment in tourism in East Jerusalem.
  • Padico Services: ABS was hired to prepare a feasibility study on the Grand Bazar project which is located in the Old City of Jerusalem. Located in the heart of the Old City of Jerusalem, the 500sqm property was proposed to be transformed to create an authentic tourism attraction that embodies key elements of Palestinian culture, heritage, cuisine and hospitality under a single roof. The appraisal included a comprehensive market, business and financial review for the project.
